Scratch test on the possible Kyanite, Labradorite or ???.

I did the best I could do on performing a scratch test without the correct kit or tools to do one. So I hope my explanation can give a little more insight on identifying the stones. Each scratch test I randomly choose about 3 or 4 of these stones. I looked up a list of household items I could use as an alternative to a kit. I used my finger nail, small pocket knife, copper penny, 16d nail, wood screw and masonry drill bit.

First I was able to scratch the length of the stone with all the items. I was not able to scratch the width of any of the stones with any of the items listed until the last item. I was finally able to faintly scratch the stones with the drill bit.

I hope this helps.
