How to write a mute (not deaf) person?

I don't mean the actual character - although advice is always handy - but the actual dialogues. And yes, I know there are many ways to go around it but I feel like descriptive "dialogue" could get old fast and breaking lines of a single person speaking, even if some are with merely a point on the same actual line feels kinda odd?

Any good examples I can inspire myself with? The mute person would be using sign language of course
