Voice clip recordings

What do you guys use to record voice clips your partner sends you? Most communication for us is don't through Instagram and the voice clips they send melt my heart but I only have a screen recorder that also records audio. I have an android phone and I was wondering if there is any good apps that you can use to record these clips into mp3 files. I am running out of room on my phone to hold all of these screen recordings!
